Tips
This section covers some things that we have learned over the years hosting the festival. Hopefully you will find them helpful when planning your day. As always, we will answer any questions you have. You can e-mail us through the Contact Us form.
- Before leaving home make sure you have your World Pulse Festival tickets and that you have one for everyone in your group.
- The ideal time to arrive on the grounds is between 8am and 10am. It is not necessary to arrive before 8 am as the line does not get too large before the gates open. However, after 10 am the line begins to get significantly longer and you may have to wait longer to enter the grounds. There is also plenty of activities taking place on the grounds for your group to be entertained so don't worry about being there too early.
- Bring Sunscreen! And hats, and beach umbrellas and tents. There is absolutely NO shade anywhere on the grounds. So please be prepared to provide shade for your group. In August, the sun can be pretty intense and with so many people on the grounds, a shady area is a welcome respite for most festival attendees. There is a tent designated section on the grounds. It is towards the back-left of the property. All tents must be set-up there in order to help keep the view of the stage clear for the majority of the crowd.
- Check the weather and be prepared accordingly. The festival will continue if it is just raining. So you will want to have some raincoats and umbrellas for the elements. The only weather conditions that the festival would be canceled from is a severe thunderstorm. If bad weather is in the area, the World Pulse Festival staff will be watching it carefully and making plans accordingly in order to keep everyone safe.
- Have a plan of what to do if your group gets separated. Lost children are taken to our Information Tent and their names are announced between acts. The staff on the grounds are aware of this and do everything possible to re-connect lost children with their parents. However, only children 14 and under are announced lost from the stage. So, let everyone in your group know where to go and what time you are planning to leave in case you get separated.
- Make a budget beforehand and bring cash for parking, food, kids zone, WPF memorabilia and artist merchandise.
- Remember you camera so you can capture your memories and favorite moments on stage.
- You may find a set of binoculars helpful.
- Remember to bring your excitement and sunny attitude. It's going to be an awesome day with fun for everyone!
